The hardest was for me to say goodbye to my friends. I have never been good at making new friends. I thought I would feel alone this year.
A friend of my flew to the Canary Islands and stayed on board for 2 weeks. We had an amazing time that made our farewell harder. After she left I started to enjoy the world trip more. I realized I made friends without doing anything for it, just being myself.
During a trip friendships just develop themselves. The age difference, the skin difference it all doesn’t matter. Even if you speak a different language you can become friends. After a trip you have so many new friends and you can’t keep in touch with them all but this doesn’t matter.
